
In June 2024 Joost was guest artist at the AVROTROS TV program ''Opium op Oerol'', playing several days live on NPO2 from the Dutch island of Terschelling. All performances can be listened back on YouTube.

In December 2023 Joost made his debut with the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest (RFO) and Stephane Denève, playing Debussy's Danses Sacrée et Profane in both TivoliVredenburg and the Concertgebouw.
As of 2026 Joost has been appointed principal subject teacher of harp performance at the Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. He will be teaching there together with Albane Baron (orchestral repertoire) and Lenie de Meij (section representative) Read the article about the new harp team on the Codarts website.

Last summer Joost was a guest artist during the renowned Dutch Prinsengrachtconcert, broadcast live on TV from the canals of Amsterdam. Watch the video of his performance of Pearl Chertok - Harpicide at Midnight

In April 2025 Joost played a successful debut in the recital hall of the Amsterdam Concergebouw. The program included works by Bach, Mchedelov, Godefroid, Lemereis, Hindemith, Holliger and Tournier. Watch the encore performance here.

In February-March 2025 Joost gave concerts in Taiwan together with cellist Sheng-Chiun Lin, organized by Stichting Chamber X Chamber. They performed in major venues such as the National Taichung Theater and the National Concert Hall in Taipei. In addition they engaged in educational activities, playing concerts at schools and giving masterclasses at the National Taiwan Normal University. They also closely collaborated with Taiwanese composer Ling-Hsuan Huang, who composed several new works for the occasion. Listen the world premiere of the harp solo 'Time is an Illusion' here

In December 2024 Joost performed Britten's Ceremony of Carols for choir and harp with the Groot Omroepkoor under the baton of conductor Benjamin Goodson. The performance was part of the AVROTROS Christmas concert, broadcast live on radio NPO Klassiek. The full concert can be listened back on YouTube.

In August 2024 Joost was Artist in Residence at the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam. He gave concert on various locations around the city with highlights being the Van Gogh Museum and the Royal Palace (Paleis op de Dam).

Recently Joost was a guest in the late night program Met het Oog op Morgen on NPO Radio 1. He talked about his new album Rhapsodos and gave played a short piece from his album. Listen back via this link

On 18 August Joost received the GrachtenfestivalPrijs, making him artist in residence at next year's Grachtenfestival and giving him carte blanche to come up with an exciting program for the 2024 edition. The jury praised him as a true storyteller from beginning to end. Read more in Het Parool.

On 28 May, Joost was awarded the Dutch Classical Talent Award 2023. With his programme Orpheus, he impressed both jury and audience through his musical imagination, expressive playing and compelling sense of storytelling. Read more in NRC.
